WC-2217G-GOLD-305 looks like a random string. It is not. Each part tells you what is in the box, and once you can read it you can order from the price list without opening the catalogue.
WC
WIAN Cable. Patch cords start WP.
First digit — category
1 is CAT6 (24 AWG). 2 is CAT6A (23 AWG). So every Spark Series cable starts WC-1, and every Neo and Gold cable starts WC-2.
Second digit — conductor
2 is 100 % pure electrolytic copper. 1 is hybrid CCAM (copper-clad aluminium-magnesium). WC-22xx is copper CAT6A; WC-21xx is CCAM CAT6A; WC-12xx is copper CAT6; WC-11xx is CCAM CAT6.
Third and fourth digits — construction
12 is the indoor LSZH cable (Spark WC-1212G, Neo WC-2212G). 13 is outdoor single-LDPE (Spark WC-1213K). 17 is indoor FR-PVC with Wi-Barrier Tape (Gold WC-2217G, WC-2117G). 64 is outdoor double-LDPE with Wi-Barrier Tape (Gold WC-2264K, WC-2164K). 68 is outdoor double-LDPE without tape (Neo WC-2268K, WC-2168K). 74 is aluminium-wire armoured (Gold WC-2274K). 84 is ECCS steel armoured (Gold WC-2284K).
The letter — jacket colour
G is grey, K is black, W is white. Outdoor cables are black (K) because carbon black is what makes LDPE UV-stable. Indoor cables are grey or white.
The suffix
The series name and the length: -SPARK-305, -NEO-305, -GOLD-305. All LAN cables are 305 m. Patch cords carry the length in metres instead.
